Purpose of Course

A mock interview is an hour session with a career assistant to help you prepare and strategies for future interviews. Traditional and behavioural interview questions will be presented and you will be asked to respond, as in a real interview. After the interview, you will be given constructive feedback regarding your interview style and how you respond to questions.

Course Content

Procedures for a Mock Interview

Drop off your resume, cover letter, job description and the address of the company you are interested in, at our office.
If you provide the material above, you will be scheduled for an interview.
If you have any questions that you would like to practice please inform the staff when you drop off your resume.

Come 'Dressed to Impress'

Bring what you feel is necessary for the interview. No significant others please. Unlike a real interview, portfolios will not be necessary.



How Can I Prepare for a Mock Interview?

You should know your interests, what you value, and what skills and competencies you can bring to an organization.
Research the company you are interested in working for, find out their mission, philosophies, products, services and what they value.
